Industrial waterfront on the Sea of Marmara at dusk with cargo vessels offshore and one orange pilot boat

Wire harness connectivity parts, delivered into Turkey.

Turkey builds harnesses for European programmes on European deadlines, from the other side of one land border. Sofia to the Marmara industrial belt is a short run by road, and that is a real advantage when a line is already down.

Turkey is the closest large harness base to us by road, and the customs union means the border is paperwork rather than duty.

We supply connectors, terminals and seals into Turkish harness plants at the shortage, allocation and obsolete end of the market, with the customs documentation prepared in-house.

Why Turkey matters to us

Shipping and customs documentation for a component consignment

Turkish wire harness production concentrates in the Marmara region, around Bursa and Kocaeli. Yazaki runs Turkish operations at the Gemlik Free Trade Zone in Bursa, at Nilufer in Bursa, and at Basiskele in Kocaeli. Bursa is the country's automotive centre and the industrial density around it is what makes the region a harness base rather than a general manufacturing one.

Underneath the international tier sits a substantial domestic cable and harness industry. Murat Ticaret Kablo, now part of Volex, builds automotive, white goods and appliance harnesses. Cagatay Kablo manufactures harnesses and cable from Silivri near Istanbul for automotive, commercial vehicle, construction machinery, tractor, bus and HVAC customers. PESKA produces cable harnesses at Inegol in Bursa for heating and cooling, automotive, white goods and machinery. That mix matters, because a plant building for several industries at once carries a wider connector inventory and a wider exposure when one series goes short.

Geography does the rest. Turkey is the land bridge between the European industrial belt and the Middle East and North Africa, and it supplies European vehicle programmes on European timelines. Sofia sits on the road route into it, which puts us closer to the Marmara belt than most of the distribution the market actually buys from.

Harness Code is an independent distributor working shortage, allocation and obsolete connectivity: terminal series on allocation, connectors quoted at forty weeks, housings discontinued mid-programme. We are not an authorised or franchised reseller, which is what allows us to source outside a channel that has already declined the request. Counterfeit risk is managed through verified sourcing channels, date and lot-code checks, and original packaging where it exists. We do not issue a certificate of conformance as a guarantee of authenticity, and we say what we can document before you order.

Who we serve here

The plants this market runs on

Public harness and cable manufacturing sites in Turkey, concentrated in the Marmara industrial region. We supply the connectors, terminals and seals at the shortage and obsolete end of that chain.

Tier 1

Yazaki

Turkish operations at the Gemlik Free Trade Zone and Nilufer in Bursa, and at Basiskele in Kocaeli. Automotive wiring harnesses and electrical distribution systems.

Harness

Murat Ticaret Kablo

Now part of Volex. Wiring harness and cable assembly across automotive, white goods and appliance programmes.

Harness

Cagatay Kablo

Independent Turkish harness and cable manufacturer at Silivri, Istanbul. Automotive, commercial vehicle, construction machinery, tractor, bus and HVAC customers.

Harness

PESKA

Cable harness production at Inegol, Bursa, serving heating and cooling, automotive, white goods and machinery manufacturers.

Region

The Bursa and Kocaeli belt

Turkey's automotive centre. Enough plant density in one region that a single allocated terminal series is felt across several unrelated programmes at once.

Plants listed are public manufacturing sites in Turkey. Named customer references appear only with written permission.

Logistics from Sofia

One land border, a customs union, and the paperwork done in-house.

Turkey is outside the European Union but inside a customs union with it for industrial goods, so an A.TR movement certificate covers qualifying shipments and the customs formalities are a documentation exercise rather than a duty problem. We prepare that paperwork ourselves rather than handing it to you. Road freight from Sofia into the Marmara belt is short, and hand-carry is on the table when a line is already down.

FAQ

Common questions on supplying Turkey

01Do you deliver to Turkey?

Yes. Turkey is outside the EU, so the shipment goes through customs, but the EU and Turkey are in a customs union for industrial goods. An A.TR movement certificate covers qualifying consignments and we prepare the documentation in-house.

02Will I pay import duty?

For qualifying industrial goods moving under an A.TR certificate, the customs union removes the duty. Treatment still depends on the goods and their status, so we confirm what applies to your specific consignment before it ships rather than after it arrives.

03How fast can you get parts into a plant near Bursa?

It depends on where the part is, not on where you are. Sofia is close by road, so once we have located and verified a part the transport leg is short. We confirm an honest lead time before you order rather than an optimistic one that slips.

04Which connector brands do you supply?

TE Connectivity, Aptiv and legacy Delphi, Yazaki, Sumitomo Electric, JST and Molex make up the core, with roughly forty further brands sourced on request. Send the manufacturer and the part number. Where a series has been superseded rather than discontinued, we will tell you which successor the manufacturer points to.

05Do you speak Turkish?

Turkish-language support is available on request. Most inquiries run in English so the part numbers, date codes and customs descriptions stay consistent across the documentation.
