A connector is only sealed when every cavity is filled. Wire seals close the gap around each crimped wire. Cavity plugs close the cavities you don't use.
We source the full sealing set that travels with a connector order: single wire seals, rubber bullet and mat seals, dummy and cavity plugs, and cable seals. These are series-specific parts, not generic ones. A TE MQS seal will not fit an Aptiv GT 150 housing.
