A connector is only sealed when every cavity is filled. Wire seals close the gap around each crimped wire. Cavity plugs close the cavities you don't use.
We source the full sealing set that travels with a connector order: single wire seals, rubber bullet and mat seals, dummy and cavity plugs, and cable seals. These are series-specific parts, not generic ones. A TE MQS seal will not fit an Aptiv GT 150 housing.

Get one wrong, and the whole housing fails its ingress rating. We match every seal to the connector series before we quote.
Single wire seals
Per-cavity seals sized to wire gauge and insulation diameter. Silicone and rubber, colour-coded by size on most families.
Cavity and dummy plugs
Blind plugs that seal unused cavities so the housing keeps its ingress rating. Matched to the cavity geometry of the series.
Rubber mat and bullet seals
Family mat seals and bullet seals for multi-cavity housings. The interface seal that sits between the connector halves.
Cable and grommet seals
Rear cable seals and sealing grommets that close the wire entry on sealed connectors. Sized to the cable bundle, not the cavity.
Family-matched seal sets
The complete sealing set for TE MQS and JPT, Aptiv GT 150 and Metri-Pack, Yazaki and Sumitomo series.
