The terms that apply to quotes and orders.
Launch baseline. This is a short, plain version of our terms, written to be clear rather than exhaustive. We are expanding it with our legal advisers. The full document will replace this page before it governs any large or complex order. If anything here is unclear, ask us before you place an order and we will confirm it in writing.
Who we are
Harness Code Ltd, an independent distributor of connectivity components. We source wire harness connectors, terminals and related components, with a focus on shortage and hard-to-find parts. We are an independent distributor, not an authorised reseller of any manufacturer. We say this plainly because it matters: it shapes how we source, what we can promise, and what travels with each order.
In these terms, "we", "us" and "Harness Code" mean the company below. "You" means the business requesting a quote or placing an order.

Quotes
A quote from us is an indication, not a binding offer. It reflects the best information we have at the moment we send it.
- Each quote states the period it remains valid for. After that period, ask us to refresh it.
- Availability, price and lead time are confirmed at the time of order, not at the time of quotation.
- In a shortage market, prices and lead times can move quickly. A figure that held this morning may not hold this afternoon. We will always tell you what changed before you commit.
We quote in good faith. We do not inflate a lead time to win the order, and we do not quote stock we cannot source.
Orders and acceptance
An order is accepted when we confirm it to you in writing. A quote, a phone call, or an email reply on its own is not acceptance. Our written confirmation sets out the agreed parts, quantities, price, and lead time, and that confirmation governs the order.
If we cannot fulfil an order after a part has been confirmed, we will tell you straight away, explain why, and work with you on an alternative or a remedy. We would rather make one honest call than send you a part we are not sure about.
Documentation and traceability
We source only through verified channels, confirm date codes and packaging condition, and tell you exactly what travels with each order.
The documentation that accompanies an order is agreed and confirmed at the time of quotation. This is a capability we apply order by order, not an unconditional promise of a specific certificate on every shipment. What we can provide depends on the part, the source, and the manufacturer. We confirm it before you order, so there are no surprises at delivery.
Ask before you order. If your process needs a specific document or audit trail, tell us at the quote stage. We will confirm in writing what we can supply for that exact part, and we will not claim more than we can deliver.
Liability and warranty
As an independent distributor, we pass on the parts we source and the documentation that comes with them. We are not the manufacturer, and manufacturer warranties, where they exist, sit with the manufacturer.
Our responsibility is to source through verified channels, to confirm what we send, and to describe each order honestly. Full warranty and liability terms, including their scope and limits, will be detailed in the expanded version of these terms developed with our legal advisers, and confirmed with you for larger or critical orders.
Until then, if a part does not match what we confirmed, contact us and we will make it right.
Governing law
These terms, and any quote or order made under them, are governed by the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria. Any dispute is subject to the competent courts of Bulgaria, unless we agree otherwise with you in writing.
